How we are here for you through COVID-19

We are all very grateful the COVID threat is greatly reduced in SA however we need to remain vigilant.

CONSULTATIONS at Littlehampton Medical Centre can be booked online through HotDoc for phone or in-house appointments.

Please note as from 1st October 2020 telephone consultations may now incur a gap or private fee. Most GP’s continue to bulkbill children under 16 and concession card holders Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm for both phone and in-house appointments.

For your safety and in continuing to provide a high standard of Infection control we continue to triage patients before they enter the clinic. If you have a fever, cold/flu like symptoms, loss of taste or smell or other COVID-19 related symptoms you will be directed to attend our respiratory clinic and be seen by our doctor on duty who will attend to swabbing you for COVID-19 as required.

Your health and wellbeing is our priority. We continue to attend to all procedures and routine preventative health care.

This includes skin checks, routine pap smears, Health Assessments, chronic disease care plans, iron infusions, venesections and routine physical examinations.

We request you arrive 5 minutes early for your appointment. On arrival at the clinic please remain in your car and ring reception to inform them that you have arrived. They will attend the triage process with you and advise when to come inside.

While this precaution can be an inconvenience, it further adds to your safety. Testing for COVID-19 continues to be requested by SA HEALTH for anyone with symptoms which may indicate the presence of COVID-19. If you need advice, please speak with our reception staff or visit our website to book a consultation.
