Andrew Lane by mktogether | Aug 28, 2020 Andrew Lane BMBS(Hons), FRACGP, BApplSc (Med Lab Sc) Dr Andrew Lane completed his medical training at Flinders University in 2002. He spent the next 4 years working in the UK and South Africa. Returning to Australia in 2007 Dr Lane made the decision to pursue a career in rural general practice and completed further training in general medicine, paediatric emergency care, obstetrics and anaesthetics. He then worked in Murray Bridge as a GP for 3 years, before moving to Littlehampton in 2014. Dr Lane has many interests including family medicine, complex medical conditions (e.g. diabetes), men’s health, aged care and emergency medicine. Having travelled widely and worked in the developing world he has a particular enthusiasm for Travel Medicine. He has completed additional training in that field and is well qualified for all travel advice. Dr Lane also has admitting rights at the Mt Barker Hospital and works in the Emergency Department. He makes weekly visits to local nursing homes and works Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at Littlehampton Medical Centre.
